A school on a human scale
Every child learns in their own way. We observe how yours does, then build our teaching on it.
A star-shaped fruit, a promise
At Carrefour Régie, up the hill opposite Tradex Dragage, a small school opens with one simple idea: taking the time to get to know and understand every child. Since then, it has grown at the pace of its pupils: a new class only opens when the team is ready to welcome it.
The star fruit — carambole in French — keeps its secret well: slice it, and every piece becomes a star. We believe the same is true of children. Each one carries a star inside; our role is to help it shine.
Micro-nursery, pre-school and primary school follow on from one another without the child losing their bearings, with the same team and the same methods.

Combining high standards with kindness: bringing out each child’s abilities by nurturing a love of learning, independence, creativity and discovery.
Three things we never compromise on
Safety
An enclosed, supervised site, visitor checks at the entrance, children handed over in person. Nothing in a child’s day is left to improvisation.
Kindness
A word for the child and a word for the parent, every morning. We never wake anyone to stick to a timetable, and we never compare two children.
Excellence
No more than twelve pupils per class in pre-school and primary, English every day, a progress book for every child. High standards start at the nursery.
Bright, colourful spaces designed for young children
Fifteen photos to browse through our premises. Every classroom has its own reading corner, at child height.
1 / 15
Tastefully fitted premises, for the children’s greatest comfort.
Uncompromising safety
It is the school’s first value, and the first question families ask. Here, plainly, is what we have in place.
Cameras covering corridors and shared spaces.
The site is enclosed, with a single point of entry.
A constant presence, including outside school hours.
Nobody comes in without being identified at reception.
First-aid kit, fire extinguishers, trained staff.
Displayed in the school and known to the whole team.
Finger-guard doors and soft flooring under the play equipment.
Children are only released to a parent, never to an unannounced third party.
What to know before entrusting your child to us
Our care options
Activities are also offered during the school holidays, on registration.
Who brings what
The school provides school supplies and early learning materials.
The family brings lunch, a snack and, for the youngest, nappies and milk.
Uniform is not compulsory.
Keeping in touch with families
A few words about the day at every pick-up, a progress book for every child, and open, ongoing communication.
By phone or on WhatsApp, you’ll always get a quick reply.
A quick look at our activities
A filmed tour, then photos taken by the team over the weeks, in the classrooms and in the playground.

Who looks after your child during the day
Each group is looked after by the same adults from morning to evening. They all work to one principle: finding out what helps each child make progress.
A speech therapist, psychomotor therapist and psychologist step in when a need is identified, in agreement with the family.
The school is fully compliant with the Cameroonian authorities
Licence to operate, accreditation and taxpayer number: the school’s official documents are presented on a dedicated page that families can consult.
A question about the school?
The head of school meets families by appointment, Monday to Friday. The easiest way is still by phone or WhatsApp.
